No coupons this week....
I am so lost with no coupons to go through this week! There are not too many exciting things in the grocery ads this week. Meijer is having a 10/$10 sale where the 11th item is free. Kroger still has milk for $1.99 gallon, trix, go-gurt,yo-plus and kids cup yogurt 2/$4 and there are many different coupons out there. Best is $1/1 yo-plus making it FREE. Also, select GM cereal 1.67 so if you have a $1/3 coupon that is $1 a box final price. Ocean spray juice ($1/1 printable coupon online) $1.98 but if you print the coupon it's free. That is about it so far this week, some weeks are just better than others.

More deals
Okay, yes I go the the store about every day but to use all my coupons I almost have to. Anyway, I like fresh deli meat and produce and you never know what will be marked down. Today I found 2.2 pound packs of ground beef for $2 and the sell by date isn't until 2/16. Got 2 of those. Also, 6 betty crocker frostings and 2 bags of chex mix FREE. 6 betty crocker warm delights for .25 each, and fiber one bars for $1 a box.
So, if you really want to start saving money on your grocery bill I suggest 2 things:
1)get the Sunday paper-either go pick it up or have it delivered
2) to get a quick stockpile of coupons order a mixed lot on ebay. You never know what coupons you are going to get for a few bucks.
Now, just because you now have coupons in hand (or on the way) doesn't mean you need to go use them all right now. If you need it and will buy it regardless of having a coupon or not, by all means use your coupon. BUT, if you are buying it because you have a coupon and it's not even on sale, WAIT. Be patient and wait for a sale. You will get to a place eventually where you have one (at least) of everything stockpiled in the basement and you got for free or very cheap, and you will not have to run out and pay full price because you ran out. Remember, a wise woman is prudent, resourceful and prepared. I want to be a wise woman from time to time!

Cereal............and more
I probably have 60 boxes of good, brand name cereal stored in my basement right now. I don't know exactly but would guess I only paid about $30 for all of it. If you bought all at full price imagine how much $$ that would have cost!
I also have a freezer full (maybe 40 or so) of Green giant steamers that I paid nothing for. In fact I made a profit on those of a few bucks!
I have TONS of shampoo, conditioner, toothpaste, nail polish, deodorant and cleaning supplies too all for FREE or pennies
So just think...........if I am ever stranded at my house I will be well fed for at least a few weeks, have clean hair, pretty nails, a spotless house and not smell! Oh yes, and lets not forget about the Dove chocolate stash too. Chocolate is good, FREE chocolate is heavenly :) If I ever go missing........check the basement first LOL
