God's direction is clear

We are going to Alaska! Dan has accepted the job as Children's pastor for Faith Christian Community church in Anchorage, AK We are moving in just a few weeks and right now I have not time or motivation to cut coupons, they are stacked up from 3 months ago still. I do need to find the time, somewhere, somehow!! Coupon class starts over tomorrow and runs every Sat in oct, although I will be gone before it's over. Keep clipping and saving!

Back from Alaska!

After 10 hours of plane rides we are home safely. I am so glad to be home!! Of course my fridge is empty so I will be looking over the ads later today. I can't believe how expensive Alaska is! Everything.....$2.50 for pringles that I pay .25 a can for, and houses, wow!! A cheap house is over $250,000 and probably not very big or nice. Sticker shock for sure...but it is a beautiful place. I put all my pictures on facebook so if you are a friend you can see them all. If not, send me a friend request so you can see them, you won't want to miss it! We even saw beluga whales while there.

The church that flew us there was great. They were so kind and hospitable. They really made us feel at home and I say Thank You!! Please pray that God's direction for us is made very clear in the next few weeks.

mega sale at kroger

kroger has a mega sale with just a few brands included but your kraft coupons for cream cheese and shredded cheese expire today and can be used in this deal to get free cream cheese and shredded cheese for .49!! FYI I did this yesterday and there is no limit but mine did not come off automatically so pay attention, my cashier had to take of $5 four times manually. Glad I was the only one in the store :)

I will try to post all the other mega sale deals later today..I do have tons of stuff to get done before the trip to alaska on Friday but I will try to fit it in.

5 inserts...could it be true!

Was getting ready to post this and saw Bernadatte's comment on my last post. Rumor is that there will be 5 inserts this week. Have heard that there are some good coupons in the mix. Glad we had a week off from cutting, I am still behind!! Now I am going to be REALLY behind! I need to buy every member of my family a pair of scissors LOL!!

okay..I'm a slacker!!

There are days when I get up ready to go. I get laundry washed, dried AND put away (whoo hoo) dishes done, dinner cooked, and the house cleaned up and vacuumed before bed. I got to bed feeling like wonder woman. I have not a day like that ALL WEEK. Sorry!

That is an average of .53 per item!! saved $206.41 Bonuses were .50 overage on cereal at kroger x 4 boxes, free hamburger helper, free yogurt at kroger, .60 for 12 dannon cups at meijer (used 3 $1/4 mm + 2 .60/6 mq.) lysol wipes for .50 at meijer. Overall it was productive

You just take a kroger gift card and the coupon to the service desk and they activate it for you. Pretty cool...free amp! Dan will never sleep now :)

Remember VG's triple coupons is over tomorrow and the huggies wipes coupon expires today so I have a feeling tomorrow or Monday they will magically have tons of them in stock :) but I did enjoy a few good deals while this was going one like my pepsi throwback 12 packs for .34

I got really lazy....I mean busy...last week and did not post sales and coupons. I will do better this week and post them tomorrow, but I can tell you there is not much at all this week. Meijer is having a meijer brand sale, and Kroger sales are just not that great this week. Check out Kmart because they are doubling up to $2 face value coupons, although I did not see anything good in the ad there are still some good deals to be had after searching the store, I'm sure.
